BH SILICATE is ready for application, pasty thin layer plaster, based on potassium water glass. It is intended for the creation of protective decorative coats with dragged or scratched structure onto old and new mineral bases (cement, cement plasters and coatings, sectional concrete elements, heat insulation panels, gypsum coating, gypsum board, drywalls, etc).
The plaster combines the advantages of the silicate and silicone plasters and is very suitable for old bases, for retrofitting works and working with architectural monuments.
The coating is very resistant to aging and atmospheric conditions and upon proper application it guaranteed a prolonged life of the facade and its hydrophobic properties, and mechanical protection. If applied onto the basic coating, it binds to it not just mechanically, but also chemically, which makes it very crack-resistant. Upon application it distributes evenly and the drying process is less dependant on environment temperature, which facilitates greatly the working process and makes the plaster easy for application and structuring. It is especially suitable for regions with large temperature swings, long winters and high humidity levels.
BH SILICATE is used as a finishing coat in integrated systems for heat insulation and is suitable both for new buildings and for old ones – in the process of retrofitting works or for upgrading of the building’s heat insulation or facade.
