Construction Primers
- For impregnation of mineral bases (cement, lime-cement and gypsum plasters and coatings) prior to exterior and interior painting
- Not suitable for impregnation of floors
- Impregnates the base, providing excellent cohesion to it
- Evens the absorbent properties of the surface
- Permeates the pores of the base
- Strengthens the surface, provides cohesion between dust particles
- Resistant to wet rubbing and washing
- Decreases the paint application rate
The primer is particularly suitable as a preparation of the base for hydro insulation – penetrates within the pores of the base, makes it water repellent and balances its absorbing ability. It decreases the paint consumption and ensures uniformity of the final covering. It forms a resistant to wet friction contact surface with great adhesion.
Consumption |
---|
75 – 250 gr/m². The indicative consumption varies depending on: The type of the surface (smooth, rough, primed, not primed, drywall, gypsum plaster, cement-based plaster, mortar, concrete); The instruments for application (brush, roller, spray gun); Way of application (wet on wet, with 1/2 or 1/3 overlapping); Temperature and moisture of the air. |
